Mosaics at the New Hampshire State Home Show

ImageI’m so excited to be participating in the NH State Home Show this weekend!  This image is one of my newest mosaics called “Kitschen Back Splash”.  I’m focusing on what I call architectural mosaics for installation in homes and workplaces; think back splashes behind your stove/sink, around your fireplace,  shower or tub walls, your entryway.  You can never have too many mosaics!  Anything that doesn’t move can be covered in mosaic.  So, I’ll be doing a demonstration of the “Pique Assiette” style of mosaic- that is mosaics using broken china and found objects.  Yes, I get to use my hammer to break china on purpose!  Really a great stress reliever… This show will be really fun to visit.  There are over 300 booths of everything building related from designers to builders and everything in between.  I’ll be in the South Hall in the New England Made section.  So put on your galoshes and come on out all you hearty New Englanders!  What else do you have to do?!?  For details;
